The meeting requested that five areas of work should be strengthened in light of the problems discovered in recent epidemic prevention and control and supervision.

Appropriately expand the scope of nucleic acid testing for "exhaustive examinations", increase the frequency of regular tests, and do a good job in the investigation, reporting and referral of fever cases. The third is to strengthen prevention and control of hospital awareness. Party and government responsible comrades in medical institutions should personally grasp and improve the prevention and control mechanism, special personnel and special classes, and regular inspections. Re-evaluate the existing designated hospitals and fever clinics. Those that do not meet the requirements must be resolutely cancelled or remodeled as soon as possible, equipped with adequate equipment and personnel, and strict closed-loop management requirements for fever patients. Attach great importance to and strengthen the flow reconciliation and traceability work. The fifth is to strengthen epidemic prevention and control around the Spring Festival holiday. Adhere to the effective prevention and control measures during the Spring Festival last year and the "May 1st" and "National Day" holidays this year to reduce the flow of people, reduce the risk of travel, reduce the gathering of people, and strengthen personal protection. Take targeted measures to prevent the outbreak and spread of the epidemic in rural areas.
